Taking transit impacts one's leadership of it.

Just as we tour fire stations & water treatment plants, electeds should learn how transit works & FEELS in person. Otherwise it's hard to grasp what safety, the human connection, or a missed transfer means to riders.

This morning, ICE surrounded a construction site with Latino workers in this dangerously cold weather. One worker had to leave in an ambulance because they were forced to stay on the roof of the construction site as ICE attempted to kidnap them. 1/

Donald Trump has brought his lawlessness to Minnesota, sending ICE agents here to divide and terrorize our communities.

But House DFLers will always stand with our neighbors.

We are Minnesotans. And Minnesotans have each other’s backs.

US citizen and veteran detained by ICE: I’m here as a veteran, father, and ordinary person who believes in our country. I respect law enforcement, but I also believe accountability is the foundation for respect. I was arrested and detained by ICE agents.

Faced with a housing crisis, this southern Minnesota city is saying yes to experimental builds Over the summer, the New Ulm City Council voted in favor of tiny homes, shed houses and zoning flexibility.

It’s great to see New Ulm expand its housing options, but with MN short over 100k homes, we cannot afford to wait for other cities to do the same.

It’s time for a regional approach: #YestoHomes legislation.
