I work tech-adjacent so it’s inevitable but I’m startled at how fast and hard everything shifted, not just in my pipelines but in the general tech industry zeitgeist. It’s BAD, used to be a comfortable industry to work in, nah uh, not anymore. Good luck to you and your colleagues, hang in there!

Today my boss went off on a tangent about how amazing it is that AI helps people write now. My ENTIRE job and company has switched to only AI, I’m complaining because I know you understand, it’s so soul-crushing, I need out of this industry! :(

Awww I’m happy to hear! And I feel you on the socializing. I work remote and since I only have meetings, most of my socializing is just Professional Face and I find it oddly less exhausting than if it was casual! Somehow! I hope the job is good for your soul and even a little fun. Get that cash!
