Busy day today.. scoring session in Prague.
The strong melodic lines have shifted to game music, with OST soundtracks massive selling and live concerts a strong ticket seller. Strange that the big films with strong themes seem to be nostalgic or sequels using older IP. I understand the current aesthetic, but I love to hum a tune!

Great informative day at the Guildford Games Festival meeting up with other like-minded music composers and gamers..bit of a shock to the system after emerging from the safety of my studio!
This is how I view the world from now on, everything has its own theme tune when you go past it.

I was wondering about this, I have different profiles on insta for performing and composing (especially the wedding stuff)..it seems to pay off as the algorithm really doesn't like you to not fit in their tiny category boxes!
I always thought we were the only ones to name our dog after this wonderful character!
Audiobooks...and a walk...great way to switch off, no music (that you would have in a film/TV) it's a kind of reset for the imagination.
