If you read this story in a book, it would seem like a very basic allegory for human failure, and yet…

None of the tech bros are, they have quick minds and rapacious greed. They don’t have wisdom, they don’t have any real world measure of actual intelligence. Like the programs they are foisting on us, they have something intelligence-shaped. It’s not the same thing.

Maybe if we didn’t give mid white dudes the attention, someone smarter would be designing our tech and we’d have something *like* this “ai” garbage, but actually useful and not just burning up our environment.
