What a lovely idea for the Jubilee year. The Cathedral looks beautiful. I hope you all enjoyed the celebration.
Lovely to see these linked to Catholic Social Teaching principles.
We have a joint membership. As well as accessing places close to where we live, we also have days out freely available to visit when on holiday around the UK. So yes, I would recommend. It just depends on how often you visit places to make sure itβs value for money for you.
It's half term, which means I have a copy of Primary Reading Simplified to give away.

Does that mean a Catholic MAT could open a free school for children with SEND (SEMH focus) for example?
I completely agree that Sean Harford had a positive impact and reassured school leaders to be brave by making the Ofsted myths clear for all.

This is such an important topic for Headteachers to consider. My Deputy and I frequently discuss this. CPD for all schools leaders linked to this topic would be so beneficial.

Hi, currently a Primary headteacher.
The Phoenix light show in York Minster was stunning. π€© Really recommend a visit during half term.
Weβre looking forward to our visit on Sunday and the light show in the Minster.
Iβm really impressed to know there is a MAT that exists to serve so many vulnerable young people.
My daughter did the Beavers and Scouts route and loved it!
I found the Assessment without levels days led by Alison Peacock the best CPD, as there was a variety of speakers- Sean Harford, Daisy C, Mary M, and many, many more.
We loved visiting Iceland and spent ages in Perlan! Such much fascinating information to enjoy π
This is brilliant news, Andrew and very well deserved!
Are there any SLT/ headteachers in primary who have experience of setting up AP? Iβm reading AP Huh and would be great to speak further to anyone with primary experience. @marymyatt.bsky.social#HeadteachersUK
Really enjoyed this, thank you, Clare. We plan in habits of discussion in subjects such as history and RE once the substantive knowledge has been taught. We find itβs helpful for assessment of the subject knowledge as well as allowing pupils to practice and develop oracy skills and knowledge.
Just posted new blog on Bluesky and not (yet) on Twitter. Be interesting to see engagement. Will I fold and put it on Twitter too? Please help me avoid the temptation by reposting here!
