Our first study is investigating ways to improve diagnosis and clinical care for people with psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar and schizoaffective disorder.
We are currently recruiting for a diverse group of 600 people aged 16 to 25 with experience of these conditions.
#BrainGenHub brings together research expertise from across universities in south Wales & the South West.
Our partners at @bipolaruk.bsky.social
@adferiad.org & @thencmh.bsky.social are helping us work with people who have experienced psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar & schizoaffective disorder.
@mhplatform.bsky.social Welcome to the Brain and Genomics Hub - such exciting work and research is starting to happen. Please follow us, contribute and keep in touch with our plans

This letter in todayβs Guardian, signed by some of the UKβs finest journalists, warns that The Observer, bought by Tortoise Media, could be stripped of much of its excellent foreign reporting.

Please read this to understand the corruption and profiteering that is inherent in privatising a public asset, driven by greed. Falsely elevated Dividend payments are still actively stripping value from these companies and the public will pay.

Iβve squeezed a joke about a pub that doesnβt serve black birds into my set - Crow-barred Inn.
1/ Support today for journalists fighting for the future of The Observer, threatened by The Scott Trustβs plan to sell to Tortoise Media. Tortoise, though respected, is a small, loss-making venture and the sale risks The Observer becoming a stripped-down website behind a paywall. Worse..

My low point was how tasteless the yellow and pink sweets were at the cloak room. I started to complain to the attendant before realising they were in fact ear plugs. And I was only 2 pints in at that point.
This is a band/ crew(?) that helped me connect with so many patients as a psychiatrist in Gwent. And this was an absolutely blinding night from the lads in their home town. Loved it.
