This was proof of concept with bovine blood and accuracy was tested over 1-2 years depending on the experiment.

Passing along access to one of our latest articles – this one is pretty cool – we looked at fluorophores from the β€œwaste” in routine DNA workflow to age bloodstains. Hopefully this can be integrated into case work one day. One person’s trash can be another person’s treasure! πŸ˜‰ (thread below)
