The Four Horsemen in This is Pop! was on BBC Choice in 2000. There's remarkably little about it on the Internet.

I ended up importing the DVD of the series. Most enjoyable.

Great to hear Song for Jeremy. I bought that after seeing James's review. A 4-track Arista 12" as I recall. Thanks.
Your words are a life-saving kit. If you see someone who doesnβt look OK, a little small talk could save their life. Anyone can do it.

My first thought was that they're going to have to redo the logos on the prizes. Well done, Al's brain.

Arfon Haines Davies announcing in front of a mysterious street.
Any of my HTV-watching chums know where Arfon's background pic is? A colleague is on a mission to find out.
Let's see how the weather is there.

Six-year-old me did this in school afterwards. Considering we only had a 405-line set I'm rather impressed that I used colour.
I understand that, but that's the only thing from the 5th round mentioned in the archive, and I thought it may at least help you identify at least one game of which there was BBC coverage.
I know nothing of football, but as for Portsmouth, 10th March 1952 has a Newsreel report on their 6th rnd match, titled "Newcastle's Great Win at Portsmouth". It's 4'22" with lovely plummy commentary. It looks like it was the final item as the closing Newsreel titles follow it.
The archive only lists one report for the 5th round from Newsreel of 25th Feb. It's titled FA Cup: End of the Giant Killers but there's no footage available.

I expect you were well chuffed.
I remember getting this first issue. Good grief.
I expect Quinn was hiding the fact that one of them was planning a move to South Wales.

World Radio Day?
Back in 1983 Wales Today did a report on Cardiff's CBC producing a freesheet that upset the local free paper, filming(!) me and top news chap Jon Hawkins at West Canal Wharf recreating a news bulletin.
The actual report is rather boring, so here's an edit.

On 1, Newsround was on from 16.59/50 to 17.07/43. According to the archive notes, "Newsround was the first BBC TV prog to report the Challenger disaster".
