I’ve been rewatching the Coen Bros filmography this month and while drawing a Barton Fink illustration, it struck me how much their films feel like Far Side cartoons: funny, strange, clever, yet frequently inscrutable. Anyway here’s a thread!

If I had seen the future and known that Paul Tremblay would write Horror Movie, I might have never started The October Film Haunt. Why bother, right? Luckily, each novel does its own thing. I admire Paul’s work deeply, and I faded to black when he read my book and shared these kind thoughts.
