As a translator, sometimes I get mad at whoever wrote the game for coming up with a truly stupid amount of puns, and then I remember it was me, I wrote the game

Games on Steam and consoles don't have to get a license, so we don't have to censor stuff unlike mobile. However, it is true that the official approval process is very opaque and lacks clear guidelines, so game studios sometimes are more overzealous when it comes to self-censoring.
