The eye on the Icon Productions logo comes from the "Virgin of Vladimir", a Russian portrait icon of the Virgin Mary dating from the 12th century.
One of the best channels on YouTube strikes back with another gold one.
Anora feels like a film made by John Hughes if he was alive in 2024.
The world does not need or benefit from the Razzies or CinemaSins.
The Razzies are, and as a concept is, inherently anti-art.
At the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles with my friend Alice back in 2023.

Best profile I've seen from a dating app yet.
Remember the good old days when a filmโs making-of documentary was so integral to the process that the likes of David Lynch appeared in a two page ad to announce which camera was going to be used strictly for the behind-the-scenes of DUNE?

Promoting yourself is one of the hardest elements of being a freelancer and we need platforms to share our work. So when small platforms like Hiki get anal about that, do they think freelancers have the same level of platform/power as Apple or McDonald's? It's so funny.
"Oh, cool. Another platform I can post my art on, and just add a wee cheeky Instagram handle on the caption if people are interested in following my work ๐ฅฐ"
Niche social media platform:
This is "not" a dig at the Autistic-friendly social media app Hiki whatsoever.
By the way, social media platforms getting mad at people, particularly artists and smaller businesses, for posting their instagram/social media handle on a post so people can check out more their work/business is really dumb and petty as fuck. We're small freelancers, not the Coca Cola Company.
He has a terrific channel.
I like watching videos on Laserdisc and people's Laserdisc collections, but I don't think I'll be able to collect them myself. Not enough interest from me to own them unlike VHS, and players are so expensive online. But it's great hearing people talk about them.

A portrait of David Lynch's character Gordon Cole on Twin Peaks I was commissioned to draw at the beginning of the pandemic. I don't know where I would be or even who I'd be if Twin Peaks didn't exist.
This will be a big one to process, but I'm sure he'd want everyone to keep creating.
*within a year lol
I'm going to try and do this too. But I am definitely going to include short films because I do not have the time or mental energy to try and cram in 365 feature length films within a day. Maybe during the pandemic, but not anymore.
CANDY DARLING. My first illustration of 2025. The portrait is inspired by getting into the Paul Morrissey/Warhol films later last year, Women In Revolt starring Candy becoming one of my favourites.
"You've got the body, I've got the brain" My latest illustration of the throroughly queer horror 'A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 2: FREDDY'S REVENGE'! Happy to finally draw more Freddy again. Which variant do you prefer: green lightning or white lightning? ๐๐ค

I was commissioned by Warner Bros to illustrate this giallo throwback poster design for M Night Shyamalan's upcoming film TRAP, with Fandango! A huge thank you to Poster Posse for giving me this opportunity!
