The time has come for my old dogs to step back from ministry. As they age - Nesbitt is 12, Bailey is 10 - and with Bailey bravely battling cancer, their limits are showing. They’ve loved students and staff so well. Grateful beyond words, and heartbroken 💔
Last Sunday’s Rite of Election at Christ the King Cathedral was a beautiful moment of grace. Catechumens were called forward on their journey toward Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist, supported by their sponsors and RCIA candidates already baptized. Together, they walk toward the Easter Vigil. 🙏✨
In 2026, a Mass is being offered each month by the Catholic Women’s League Diocese of Hamilton Council for the intentions of all CWL members within the Diocese. On Saturday, Feb 21, the St. Patrick Parish CWL Council organized the 5pm Mass, with Diocesan and Parish CWL Council members in attendance.

🎭 At St. Mary CSS, drama students turned real voices into a powerful play, “Each by Name,” shining a light on homelessness, poverty & dignity by partnering with De Mazenod Door and centering community stories on stage. A beautiful example of art + compassion in action!
