However it did seem to me that not having an autistic voice *when discussing autism* was a rather glaring omission in the first place, and if the response from TES still doesn't, can we say "Nothing about us?"

I've been looking but can't find any information about whether Dr Sue Franklin is actually autistic?
She seems to be entirely too diplomatic with regards to the many errors in the Frith article, and glosses over the way it fails to make reference to modern, autistic led understanding.

I thought I was angry about the Uta Frith piece but I realise that actually, I (and you) should be fully *furious*.
Excellent long read which is very worth your while, with actual sources to back it up, unlike a certain interview I could mention, which was mainly based on fear and feelings.
Where did these figures come from? I could only find percentages on the Scottish Government website, did you calculate from that or was there another source?
