The game explicitly telling you to use Ghost moves against Psychic when they messed up the code and made Psy immune to Ghost is probably the biggest one casually? Maybe the effective messages being wrong too but you can brute force through that.

Doing a Nuzlocke of Leaf Green because it's the best way to play and after some early game bad luck with crits to lose my starter and a Mankey, we had to beat Brock with nothing more than a Beedrill, a Rattata, and hope.

Beat Trails Beyond the Horizon tonight, going to take some time to sort out my feelings on *that* ending, but what I feel I do know for sure is that juggling the scope of these games is getting tougher, and also there was simply no need for the game to be this large, half the content should go.
