Dedue and Sylvain are sharing a tiny wooden bathtub, facing each other. Dedue's got both arms resting on the edge of the tub, post-timeskip hair in a loose bun, smiling contently. Sylvain is submerged almost entirely, the water lapping at his chin. They're relaxed and happy, looking at each other, knees intertwined between them.

Syldue are standing in a tent, up close. The tent is dark, with the day's light barely bleeding through the thick canvas. Dedue is clutching one of Sylvain's arms, holding up his wrist to lean in and kiss it, eyes closed. Sylvain's watching, leaning into Dedue, yearning. A slim, golden thread of light from the tents opening illuminates the gesture.

like i think edelgard thinks she and petra have come to an agreement esp post their b support but brigid will always come first to petra and i don't think edelgard quite groks that at the end if their supporte

a while back @fe3htrash.bsky.social talked about them as doomed yuri and that's soooo true. edelgard would take it super hard when petra declares independence for brigid esp if she has to use hard power like in the petrashe ending bc she thinks they're friends and petra is like we are not friends

raphael redesign! i have drawn him strongman-style, with plenty of body fat to support his muscles, and with rosy cheeks and stubble. he wears a loose white shirt, partly unlaced at the neck, and a light tan jerkin trimmed in yellow. he has a wide leather band around his waist, with two darker belts around that, both with silver buckles. his pants are burnt orange, quilted in lines down his legs, and tucked into dark brown boots. all in all he's rather simply dressed when off-duty

redesign of ignatz. he has a dark green hat trimmed with lighter green, with three feathers pinned to it with a gold and green brooch; the feathers are gradient white-to-green. i've given him tasseled earrings and a small ponytail tied with yellow ribbon. he wears a matching olive green jerkin and puffy pants combo. the jerkin is trimmed with light green patterned ribbon, and has hanging sleeves that go to his elbows, and the pants are fastened just below his knees with light yellow-green ribbon. underneath the jerkin he's wearing a white doublet with green trim, with green button and braid fastenings up the front. the ruffled collar of his shirt is just barely visible. he has a gold brooch and three loops of gold braid pinning on a single-shoulder cape (again) in green, with a little tassel hanging from the brooch. instead of boots he has tall white socks and brown leather shoes with decorative slashing. he also has little leather arm guards with gold clasps and green trim. he has a wide and fashionably asymmetrical leather belt, from which is hung a sword on the right, and a large pouch on the left. the contents of the bag are illustrated and labeled on the right: a stack of paper, made of flax fibers in this time period. quill, owl feather from teach! pen knife, for sharpening quills and pencils. pencil. seal (a handheld seal stamp). inks, four colours! (black, yellow, red, and blue.) mortar and pestle, for making more ink (or paint… maybe). and three brushes (shhh).

redesign of leonie. she is dressed in a landsknecht-inspired outfit, starting with her giant floppy hat in yellow and navy, which has three giant feathers in shades of orange and blue. she has a yellow sleeveless jerkin with orange slashing and blue-trimmed tabs on the shoulders, open to show her orange doublet, which has rows of more slashing and one lighter orange sleeve. both sleeves are absolutely massive. her white shirt has yellow trim at the yoke and is poking out in ruffles at her wrists. her pants are light orange on the left and dark orange on the right, tight except for the puffs, one of which is around her right thigh and the other around her left knee. both have slashing with white lining, and are a contrasting colour with yellow trim. she has tall pointy boots made of dark blue leather, and grey spurs. she also has a dark brown belt knotted around her waist, with a big sword hanging behind her hips.

redesign of lysithea. she's rather somberly dressed, and has most of her hair up, covered with a sheer lavender veil that's pinned in place by a gold circlet and fancy black and gold comb in the back. her overgown is a purple so dark it's almost black, trimmed with fancy gold and purple fan patterns around the top and bottom of the skirt, and splits to reveal her pale gold undergown. her sleeves are rich purple, with slashing and white puffs at the shoulders and around her biceps, and the wide cuffs are gold. she has a gold medallion and tassel at her waist, with a strip of gold and purple ribbon hanging behind the gold tassel, with a purple tassel at the very end. she also has purple trim around her waist, and a pale gold panel on her bodice trimmed with darker gold. her white chemise has gold embroidery at the high neck, and is trimmed with more gold. she's wearing very grown-up earrings, with black pearls and amethyst drops set in gold wire, and she has an ebony cane trimmed with gold.

i tried really hard to give everyone equal attention but alas.… i fear the golden deer remain my favourite house.……

redesign of claude! two of them, in fact, one "home" and one "battle." he's drawn with shoulder-length hair, extra beard, and a curly little mustache to enhance his smile, and an extra gold hoop in his other ear. his "home" look has him in a halo-brimmed navy hat with gold trim and a white feather, and a navy blue blue jerkin with the collar turned back to reveal the dark green lining over a tan doublet with gold trim, a turned-down yellow collar, and decorative diagonal slashing on the sleeves. his pale yellow shirt is visible through the slashes and in ruffles at his wrists, and at the collar. he has a black belt around his waist that holds his khanjar dagger - in the detail shot on the top right is the dagger itself, which is a curved silver dagger with a gold and black hilt, gold inlay on the blade that reads "Khalid," and a very fancy gold, malachite, and ivory sheath. the home outfit has medium brown puffy quilted pants, yellow boot bows, and navy boots with boot butterflies and golden spurs. his "battle" outfit is much the same as in canon, with the pauldron, gloves, boots, pants, capes, sash, and jacket from canon. i've just added a green and gold sleeveless jerkin with fancy quilting, a gold-trimmed belt with tassels to hold his leicester alliance cape on, and his khanjar.

redesign of hilda. her bangs are lengthened and curled, parted on one side to show off her forehead. behind her bangs are two braids looped around her head, holding a gold and pearl net in place, and then the rest of her hair is in a low ponytail. a section of it is bound with gold and black ribbon and more pearl netting. she's wearing a floor-length gown in shades of pink, yellow, and pinkish-brown. her neckline is rather low, showing off her cleavage, with a pearl and gold net partlet fastened with a crest of goneril brooch. the bodice is trimmed in plain gold ribbon, and she has big puffs at her shoulders and elbows where her white chemise is pulled out, as well as a lot of ruffles at her wrists. her sleeves are tied on by dark pink ribbons, and she has a pink and gold jeweled girdle, as well as a pearl necklace and loops of pearls at her neck. her skirt parts to reveal the pale pink undergown. the skirts are trimmed with yellow ribbon with pink flowers.

lorenz redesign!! he has long hair pulled back into a ponytail with red ribbon, a dangling ruby earring, and a fuck-off enormous cavalier-style hat with two purple feathers and red ribbon. he's wearing a very fancy purple and pale gold jerkin, with fancy slashing on the huge sleeves and gold embroidery of roses on the body. it's fastened with fancy gold worked clasps. he has a big red rose pinned to his left shoulder, where he has a purple cape (shown in the detail drawing to the right) with the crest of gloucester embroidered on it in gold, lined with almost white pale purple. it's held on with loops of pale gold braid. he's also wearing a lavender shirt with dark indigo trim, very tight lavender pants with gold detailing, and huge ruffles at the cuffs of his boots and gloves, both of which are purple. he also has bright red boot bows and gold lace on his boots, and purple boot butterflies and pale gold spurs.

redesign of marianne! she is dressed in shades of blue and gold, with her hair braided up and covered by a pearl net with a gold curlicue headband. she has pearl earrings, and pearl and topaz beads on the puffs of her sleeves and her fancy partlet. her white chemise is done up to her throat, and has a little ruff at the collar. her dress is mostly a darkish blue-grey, with dark blue trim at the neck, sleeve hems and upper sleeves, and around the borders of her overskirt. below the puffs, her sleeves are "funnel-shaped;" narrow at the upper arms and widening until they're very large at the wrist; there's gold trim at her elbow, right before it starts widening. her underskirt and inner sleeves are both pale blue, and there's a band of blue and gold embroidery around the bottom of her skirt, with star-like motifs. she also has a gold girdle, with a star-shaped clasp and two tassels hanging from it.

and finally the golden deer!! fun story i had claude all designed and then i drew lorenz and hilda and said hang on………… claude's not fancy enough now………
