I love the folks at Bevel. My sister was visiting from out of town, and had been putting off getting her lobes repierced. I brought her into Bevel, and they charged her like $10 a lobe to reopen them vs. $50 to repierce (plus the cost of jewelry to keep in the reopened piercings).

We are also very much not cruise ppl, last year's cruise was supposed to be our 1 & done. But it's a cult and now we must go every year - only 3 more years until we're assimilated into the Borg Cruise Collective! It's a genuinely chill group of likeminded ppl (just a few punchable ones to avoid).

Back home from Star Trek: The Cruise! Our Minnesota themed door and give away items were well received, and facilitated dozens of conversations about the federal invasion. It’s always shocking to step outside my twin cities bubble and face the fact that no one really knows how bad it is here.

I just picked up TOS novel “Lost to Eternity,“ published in 2024. It’s one of the Star Trek Cruise book club picks. Written by George Cox. Also have the other book club pick, set in the Discovery series time by John Jackson Miller.
