Hard to know how to interpret this - where they clearly had a sidewalk plow and clearly didn’t bother running it all the way to the street - as anything but a fuck you to anyone who wants to use a sidewalk

People should be scandalized by this: an unelected, unaccountable civic organization demanding control of a million dollars in “community benefits” funds. It highlights the backwards and frankly undemocratic nature of our development approval process.
Granted I’m coming at this with my own biases, but I did read it as ‘he said he wouldn’t allow a tower but he’s allowing this proposal to be considered, that makes him a liar’

I think it's very depressing that there is simply no social stigma against distracted driving. When people join a Zoom meeting from their cars everyone should be deriding that sort of behavior, and yet it's just accepted.

- herpes simplex virus causes cold sores, genital herpes, infections in babies, deadly meningitis
