The super special did have an article on the Cylons being flesh and blood reptilians. (With cybernetic enhancements?) IIRC, there is more dialog referencing them as such, so Marvel must have working off an early script. I was a bit disappointed they were all machines in the show at the time.

Would the magazine be identical to the larger version content wise? There were a bunch of tweaks for the monthly comic to conform it to the tv version of the pilot. I was puzzled by Baltar being bald in the Super Special, and amused someone had to go back and draw in hair.

One the way to the bus stop tonight I saw two coyotes crossing the road less than 50 feet away from me. All the new construction in the area hasn't bothered them much. At the intersection there was a man on a bike yelling, possibly in authentic frontier gibberish.
I felt safer with the coyotes.

A college classmate lived next to where the drag race in Part 3 was shot. They invited people over to climb a ladder and peek over their backyard wall to watch the filming.
I freaked when I first saw that episode. A real time capsule. Through the magic of film editing, a character hides behind a hedge near the pagoda spying on someone entering a bar in Camarillo.
