The longer this war drags on,
the higher gas prices and transportation costs will climb,
the higher inflation will rise,
the more likely we wind up in global stagflation
...and efforts to fix the problem will be a bit too late.

Maybe they will even fit...
How fleeting!😗
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents detained a father in Somerset County, then left his two children alone as they drove away, a report says.

“The clear winner of this war is Putin”
Must be a coincidence 🙃
America has the good fortune of being oil exporters. We have some leeway. Asia imports oil to support manufacturing, and nearly all of its oil comes out of the Strait of Hormuz. Their economies will suffer even though they are just bystanders in this war. They may need alternative fuels.
The US continues to wage a tariff war against the world. We can't expect other nations to back us while we treat them as adversaries.
This war is benefiting Russia's economy, while Russia provides Iran with intelligence on bombing US targets. Just two of many reasons why electing a Putin-lover to the White House was a bad choice.
“If the strait remains closed for even a month…sustained higher oil prices could plunge the world into a recession, raise borrowing costs, alter the outcome of ongoing wars, and shift the balance of global-power competition in favor of Russia and China”

Hubris, arrogance, and historical ignorance. Iran has more than a thousand years of history behind it, more than a thousand years to prepare for this war. They are far more ready than Trump and Hegseth realize.
Reuters: The leaders of Iran, Israel and the United States all voiced defiance and vowed to fight on as the Middle East war approached the two-week mark, killing thousands of people, disrupting the lives of millions of others and shaking financial markets.
Every good that gets transported is going to cost more as fuel prices rise.
Airline ticket prices are starting to climb as carriers respond to rising jet fuel costs tied to the war in Iran.
James Mattis quoted in the Atlantic, "Once hostilities begin, the enemy gets a vote." Even if Trump decides his war with Iran is over, Iran might continue to keep the Strait of Hormuz closed. When the strait reopens, it could take months for normal shipments to resume.

"You’re betting on bombings, conflicts, whether or not a US civil war breaks out before the end of this year. Who’s gonna win that bet? It’s like betting on Russian Roulette. It’s corrosive in so many ways.”
Ojala.
Some of the farmers were awarded grants under Biden's infrastructure program. Some had USAID contracts. They've lost those monies. They've voted for him three times already. If Trump ran again, would they vote for him a fourth?
The Regime’s policies are continuing to cause serious harm to farmers.
In addition to destroying the Chinese market for soybeans and kidnapping the workforce, we now have fertilizer shortages from the war in Iran.
Thank you for shining a spotlight on this corruption.
America's foreign policy now prioritizes the personal enrichment of the Trump clan. The rest of the country isn't getting much of anything out of it.
While U.S. service members die in another forever war in the Middle East, Donald Trump’s “peace envoy” is raising money for his private equity firm.
We need more outspoken leaders like her.
Until Musk took over Twitter, I didn't know much about him. He had been an enigma to me until that point. Once his posts took priority on X's algorithm, the mystique vanished.
Now, we see him a drug-addled megalomaniac who doesn't give a damn about the harm he causes.
“Comments made by Witkoff in 2 background briefings with reporters on Feb. 28 & March 3, as well as media appearances since the strikes began, made clear Witkoff did not have sufficient technical expertise or diplomatic experience to engage in effective diplomacy. His lack of knowledge & ⬇️
Witkoff is naive, and worse, thinks he's qualified.
