The first half of that game was the best football Iβve ever seen. We were sensational that night.
Lovely. A list that stands the test of time, for sure.
Nice one. Thanks, Iβll give that a spin
Youβre not alone
Thatβs a cracking compilation. Reminds me of my John Peelβs Festive 50 tapes. Have you recreated on Spotify to share?
Brannagan knee problem finally resolved with new prosthetic leg #oufc
I was also mascot that season, 22/01/77. Brighton, 1-0 win. Brian Horton was captain. Unfortunately, I never received the photos. #oufc
Feels like promotion. Huge achievement. Credit to Rowett for getting the most out of what he had available, tapping in to the spirit and heart of #oufc
64. Shoddy performance.
The impact on matches, from the last two transfer windows, considering number and cost of signings, is woeful.
For away games, the club send uncollected tickets to the host club, for collection on the day. Assumes theyβre not lost in post if you requested them to be sent.
How about championing an upcoming local band? The Kokroachez, Heroes and Gods is a banger that could cut it #oufc
A perfect evocative anthem. Was amazing when we visited. Iβd love similar for #oufc
I just read the line βIf you didnβt believe in magic, the Manor at night made you think againβ. Thatβs sent a shiver right through me.
That first half against Newcastle was the purest, most perfect performance.
The Spires
And Stuart Findlay π
No need for your final word.
I despair
Ed screwed the last transfer window, spending a lot for little impact. Letβs pin it on Des.
I too believed the same. The good thing is, we still get to write those chapters, knowing that most definitely wouldβve happened if only heβd been given the chance. Reality never got to ruin our story.
Whilst really saddened at his departure, Iβm pleased the fairytale didnβt extend to an unhappy ending, eroding the memory of his great achievement. Des will forever be associated with success and the joy he gave us. He deserves that.
In summary: Weβre not ready to admit that Ed screwed the last transfer window, spending a lot for little return and impact. Letβs pin it on Des, who has been hung out to dry, with limited support, from the day he arrived.
Today, Des was able to write his own narrative, show his class and enshrine himself as an #oufc legend. His status is upheld amongst his people. In time, this decision may prove to be the best outcome for Des, who leaves with his stock high and reputation intact. The romance of his time will live on
Beautiful piece about Sam. Pitch perfect.
Surreal times captured for posterity. Great article. Thank you.
