me and my brother would play tekken when we were younger, choose the coolest looking characters (i loved this fairy girl with chainsaw arms she was so cool), and then button mash the entire game and by the time we went to replay we forgot what each button would do, we just bullshit the entire battle
i like when it's like tekken or smash and you can just spam click ๐คค๐คค๐คค and you watch them go hyah!! hiyahh!!!! and blast off without thinking ๐คค๐คค๐คค but then you can learn their specific combos to get better but you don't have to ๐คค๐คค๐คค

i think another thing relating back to wanting-to-attack-people-without-drowning-in-revenges is that i'll go through the 800-ish people i follow, jot them all down like i did last year, and then tag them by:
- people i know
- cute ocs
- appealing artstyle (for a possible revenge)
- team
- followers
idek if this would work i have like 300 followers on artfight and that's a very big number, even if barely any while actively seek me out, there's still a lot of people that can attack me... gulp
i think this year i definitely won't join any hitlists or put myself "out there" until midway through the event so that i know if i'm DROWNING in revenges or if i'm safe to get more while drawing on my own accord !?
i think the main issue with last year (af25) was that i had a lot to do and was busy for most of the month so the only thing i could properly focus on WAS revenges
this year i don't think i have that same week-long business so maybe i can do more proper attacks outside of revenges but we'll see
obviously the whole thing of artfight is that you don't need to do revenges but i feel bad enough when some people get fullbodies and some people get halfbodies, and so intentionally skipping over some people will break me
hhh my goal in artfight every year is to get all revenges out but in af25 i barely had any time to do any non-revenge pieces (only FOUR weren't revenges, and they were all directed to friends) but i'd feel SO BAD if i didn't do revenges to some people oh my eem
