Yes, we’re on video.
The episode where Alex wanders into an abandoned primary school.
The episode where Paul blanks on the name of Airplane! (seriously).

Haha yeah, Tokyo summers had prepared me for all year long Manila weather when I moved there 😄
Mysterious self-adhesive luggage tags, a Ferrari-red helicopter, a sad packet of crisps and an old banana — this is on the menu for episode 148, to Santorini and JFK.

I was born in Geneva and I approve of this message (from London).
I recently went to the refurbished under the tracks section nearby, between Ochanomizu and Kanda stations on the Chuo Line — it’s nice, but I feel it’s too neat. I hope they don’t “improve” the existing sections, such as next to Yurakucho, too much.
Ha! I just had one which pushed the next episode to next week. It shall be a sunny destination though.
They were not in the same league. Impressive, and humiliating.
Purely anecdotal, but I’ve been using the google app more recently, as I’ve had bugs using the input bar on safari for searches at times (I’d type something, hit enter, and nothing would happen, and safari would not log the search, making me re-type the query — no such issue on the google app).
This has to be the best Champions League semifinal ever. Absolute classic.
I believe Linate is still testing so you need to register (opt in) for it to work.
Btw I’ve been lucky to see the behind the scenes operation center of HKG airport, and what they do with cameras and people is quite 😮 (with more privacy guardrails than nearby if you see what I mean haha).
Coming to the UK soon (trials have been made at Gatwick a few years ago, plus your face is already automatically scanned at every UK airport).
Had that for immigration too in Dubai (it was a test then). Amsterdam has something like that and Milan too.
It can be done via a passport upload (when you check in online or scanned at a kiosk at the airport) or at a doc check - basically the first time there’s a biometric handshake.

If it doesn’t appear fully on an RSS feed, it’s not being read.
(few exceptions, ok)
Good laughs again in this episode.
A saner LinkedIn?
Besides the usual (Kamakura for the beach vibes, Nikko for a nice green stroll), you could consider going north, Matsushima, or stretching it, Aomori (did the Shinkansen return in a day, departure super early morning) although my day trips are usually driven by a visit to some museum of modern art.
Never caught on. (I tried at the end of the 90s, was very lonely and left people puzzled)

Google Maps: that street & number you looked for, 20 minutes ago? Nah, that’s not recently searched, I’m helping you fight dementia, focus, remember it yourself.
Also “Shinjuku”? Sure, here’s Shinjuku Foods LLC, a place with no photos or reviews, 30 miles away. I’m sure you’ll like it.
To show off it’s not a phone handed out by corporate?
In the UK?! Please.
Assuming it’s google calendar, Google has changed how it handles birthdays, they’re now on the main calendar and the apps need to update how they handle them.
In the meantime, you can go to your google calendar on web, and turn off “sync from contacts”, the birthdays won’t appear anymore.
10 years with my buddy Alex on this show, time flies (and we flew a lot).
Thank you to those of you who keep listening in!

It’s the opposite from here, they’re often the cheapest, for they’re the “weakest” alliance ex-LON. I just can’t do KLM however, just can’t 😆
How’s the move to skyteam? ;-)
