#EYDC2025 Day 30: Was 2025 a good drama year? I’d say a solid B … it’s all about setting realistic expectations right? Disappointment comes from expecting every drama to be a success when really only a few are going to hit the mark in any given year…at least that’s my operating assumption

Day 11 taught me something new? #BonAppetitYourMajesty #kdrama I confess I learned a lot offline about the real-life emperor who was the basis for the story… and some of the techniques and dishes were pretty fun if a little (or a lot) fantastical

I agree with a lot of these… I’d add #MyYouth - I did love the second couple but hated the lead couple for a variety of reasons and the ending just petered out…

Day 8 #EYDC2025 - Standout secondary character(s): Mo Tae-rin (played by Lee Joo-myung) and Kim Seok-ju (played by Seo Ji-hoon who finally had a role that gave him something to do) in the otherwise barely watchable #MyYouth #kdrama

Day 7 #EYDC2025 - Favorite character - Oh Mi-ji in #OurUnwrittenSoul; runner up Yoon Ga-min in #StudyGroup #kdrama

Day 6 #EYDC2025 - a drama I dropped: #Genie #kdrama - could not even get through the first episode without fast forwarding to the end… characters were both just too offputting… fond as I am of the actors!

Day 5 #EYDC2025 Visually beautiful drama - I’m going to twist this a bit and go with #SpiritFingers because I loved the sets and costumes and bright colors so so much #Kdrama

Day 4 #EYDC2025 - Favorite original song: On Your Side by Sion from #OurUnwrittenSoul… runner up: Forever by D.O. from #ResidentPlaybook

Day 3 #EYDC2025 - Actor discovered this year? Jung Jun-won in #ResidentPlaybook and runner up Choo Young-woo …. Also shout out to Kang You-seok and Kim Yo-han
