Also despite its longevity some people have not seen the show. Bway and even some touring shows aren’t as accessible. So if I had no idea and I went in blind I’d be irritated with distractions in the theater. There offering both so it’s good. Theater kids can have their moment lol.

As someone who has seen the show many times that’s not what the sing along is for. The show has been out for over 20yrs. Most people just wanted to be in the moment and see the show for what it is. Even if it was hard to contain yourself.

The sing along is another option for you to be free.
