I'm thinking I might play Neva next. It might be a nice break from playing FF7, pirate Yakuza & Expedition 33 back to back.
Just finished FF7 remake. It was excellent! Yes some of the side quests were soso & the bike challenge at the end was more difficult than the final boss battles but for a 35hr game it felt tight, just bursting w drama & spectacle. Gonna run through the integrade dlc now & then onto my next adventure

Trans youth healthcare in the UK has always been the worst of the worst for medicalised mispractice of this kind.
But this particular one is more egregious than most.
On this flimsy sham they have banned under 18s HRT on the NHS.
1. A new NHS England Review excluded 97% of all trans care studies to conclude that trans youth care doesn't work.
It explicitly violates several guidelines around reviewing literature, and appears to be politics masquerading as (shoddy) science.

Yay, I seem to be finally improving somewhat. I really want to break through that 600 ceiling. But this is the highest I've made it since I started really. Still barely above average but still it nice for me.
Anyway, I hope the tide turns for trans people soon. We deserve so much better. I've little faith the new HSE model will amount to much but who knows. Maybe.

I know there's been an informal ban on trans adolescents getting hrt for years in the UK & today it was merely made official in England but I've been out of sorts about it all day. The Irish system for adolescents collapsed after Brexit + contracts ending with tavistock. Kids died here. It hurts.

Today's ban on NHS HRT for under 18s formalises a policy that has already been in place - Noone under 18 has received a new prescription for HRT since mid 2024 (I don't know of any since late 2023).
Of course this policy also raises the risk of similar action on private healthcare for under 18s.

Removing access to healthcare to limit the occurrences of trans people existing, by making it impossible to seamlessly exist in your transitioned state, has been the goal from the start. They want you to be easy to identify, easy to target, and likely to die.

This makes me really, really sad. The Brits have decided they would much prefer to have many traumatised, damaged or dead trans children over a handful of cis kids that might be given the wrong medicine. And it's another attack on everyone's autonomy. A generation lost.
