Yea, hard read, but important work. I never knew anything about him, so all of it was a shock to me. Tragic and sad. Thinking of his victims. Hard to beleve anyone with money and power isn't a complete POS human at this point. :( #disillusioned
My Mom gave it to me not too long after we moved from the UK to the states and I fell in love with it. Haven't read it in decades tho! Thx for the reminder! 🥰
Want to know how the WAACs ended up North Africa in 1943? I really enjoyed writing a bit about the experiences of the 149th Post Headquarters Company in Algiers. I wrote MURDER IN THE RANKS to highlight these trailblazing women! #CRIMEREADS #HISTORICALMYSTERIES

Just finished this little gem of a book! Loved it! The unexpected ending had me in tears. Lovely story about memory, ghosts, how the brain works and what it means to be human. This is one of those multi-layered stories you want to read again to see what you missed! #ghoststories

This is how you become a writer: just pick one of the things that is deeply wrong with you. Make it a character. Now send it on a self-help journey or try to kill it. Now call it a book.
I love horror! would like to write one myself someday.
Librarians moving dystopian novels to the nonfiction shelves.
"I try to lose myself in work. I have begun [writing] a book that would oblige me to read an infinite number of books" (Jean Guéhenno, 14 February 1942, Diary of the Dark Years, 145)
Add me, please!
That’s probably true… and not something I really want to hear 🤣
Just finished the latest Billy Boyle....was a great distraction. Americans fighting fascism instead of embracing it 😬
I put up lights. It helped a little. Reading, painting and puzzling is helping too 🤷♀️
Same. This is why I'm turning away from it. I'm going to spend my time reading and learning. Go back to the things I love and enjoy...while I still can.
I LOVE disaster movies 🤣 Monumentally stupid The Day After Tomorrow is fun. Cloverfield. The Wave. Reign of Fire lol But really, I love any disaster movie. I'm thinking I might rewatch the Hunger Games.
That's my plan...diving into my books and art. I'm done with punditry.
That is a win! Well done. we do what we can
Hi, I'm new here. I'm an author. My historical mystery, Murder in the Ranks, comes out Nov. 19th. I love history, horror and mysteries. Hoping to make some new friends!
That would be lovely! I'd like to join in. New here and looking for my people!
