Yeah it is odd. But it’s SI, so not as odd as you might think.

They’re notoriously bad communicators - it’s the thing they need to work on the most.

My assumption would be that they’d like for people to give what they reveal undivided attention. Maybe they didn’t think they’d get that bang for their buck while competing football transfer market news.

Just a theory - probably equally as solid as what others are assuming. Lol

It may have been in place - and then the delay may have impacted it.

What I know for sure is we don’t know until we are told - until someone from SI announces it won’t drop in March, I’m prepared for March.

The delayed comms could have something to do with the real life transfer window.

May also be that there is a licensing issues - which some people are saying (despite likely having no clue).

I just - as a grown adult with a wife, house, job and life - find it hard to relate to the angst associated with this.

When it comes it’ll get 1000 hours of my time for sure but I guess I’m just too busy to get myself wound up and start checking fiscal outlooks and profit and loss data.

The ‘missing a deadline’ thing is a storm in a teacup.

I think it was only a deadline to some - to others a guide.

It could be that SI make a loss a lot of years.

I’m 99% sure that you, and most others like you who hold these opinions will also purchase the game when it comes out. Which is why I’m always baffled at the performative way in which people behave around delayed video games.

Unless I missed a wild announcement about cancelling it in the past couple days. As far as we know it’s a March release.
