I think we're about to become snake people. My daughter has been begging for a couple months for a ball python. Her 8th birthday was yesterday and my wife and I have have given the greenlight. I never thought of myself as a snake person, but... now I think I'm all about it. This could snowball.

I used to commute on one 90 miles a day. I really liked that bike. I sold it when I no longer needed to commute. I miss it!

Yeh I went even as far to put every push rod in my drill to double check my eyes. Same parts as before, everything is normal again.

I assumed the worse, that something wasn't seated correctly. I took the head off again, and redid everything AGAIN. Torqued, set the valves. Now all my adjusters look normal. I don't know WTF is going on, I'm losing my mind apparently. But perhaps my paranoia is warranted. I think I'm finally GTG.

So I had the head on, all sealed up, rockers on, and set the valve adjustment. Something seemed wrong. The valves were all going up and down but 3 out of 4 of the adjusters had WAY more visible thread than normal, or at least what I'm used to.

I must be blind as a bat but this push rod which I assume was the culprit push rod, was not seated correctly in the lifter. It located itself right on the side off the cup. I've been riding it like this for a year!
