One of the largest castles in 🇪🇦 is the impressive Castillo de Lorca.
The medieval fortress is perched on the hill of La Torre, overlooking the landscape.
Situated in the grounds was this large chessboard.

Recently back from Vitoria-Gasteiz.
It's a city that tends to be overlooked, compared to its bigger neighbour, Bilbao.
The city is proud of its 'green' credentials.

On moving to 🇪🇦, I asked a local artist to paint me a large abstract image.

The brief was it needed to be colourful, include a bull, matador & dagger.

The end result hangs in my lounge.

Spent many a day in Shrewsbury.

This steep hill is familiar to those who live in the area. Commonly known as 'Traitors Gate'.
