I sold my car last week and today I bought toilette paper and brought it back to my apt via bus.

Victory, right?

Anyway, I'm on vacation for the next two weeks. Heading to the #StarTrekCruise tomorrow.

So, I had great fun watching The Wrecking Crew, by Amazon MGM Studios. They did well targeting it towards Gen X. It worked!

Perhaps not a great film, but it's an awesome movie! And the setting is Hawaiʻi!

I must admit, one of the more amusing aspects of watching the Olympics Opening Ceremonies is seeing the countries names in Italian as they march in. Good fun.

Great. I'm in London, Ontario for another seven weeks (minus two for the Star Trek Cruise) and a tiny cozy Irish pub just opened fairly near me. Just my luck.

I don't usually weigh in on pop culture content outside my own little podcast (SciFiPubcast) but #StarTrekAcademy Season 1 Episode 4 "Vox in Excelso" was really well done.

It was the first episode of the series that made me care. Good job.
