🏆↘️ The share of fossil fuels fell to a record low of 49.2%
🏆↗️ Wind and solar power hit a new record high of 24.4%

Well, it shows… Solar generation surged by 59% in March compared to March 2024, reaching levels previously only recorded in summer months.

I love discovering places where nature co-exists with energy infrastructure. I'm in Kenya and recently visited Hell's Gate National Park, which is home to 🦓🦒🐃 and also a geothermal power plant which generates almost 50% of Kenya's grid electricity ⚡
