David Cameron once referred to Ed Miliband as "weak, left-wing and irresponsible" and for some reason I have never been able to forget this

This thumbnail is killing me
something sort of like this exists at www.hearadvisor.com/earplug-rank...! my use-case is [autistically protecting my ears from] loud music rather than general daily wear but they cover some fairly low-rated options
it's always really fascinating to see the conversation around trans women in a women's space oriented around the perpetual idea that the trans woman is a potential threat and never that she might be acutely vulnerable to violence from her surrounding peers in such a space as a marginalized woman
this also partially stems from the broad cultural idea that a trans woman can never be a victim to violence or abuse i.e. whatever happens to her is deserved or justified. people of all genders can be acutely aware of the ways they can perpetuate violence ... except when it comes to this situation
instructions unclear my council tax bill is now addressed to Ms The Vyper. I swear I spelled it right on the form
each name change is actually prefigured by some form of clue. still haven't worked out the intermediate steps but apparently in another few iterations I'll end up with RENO
I gotta change my name *again*?

the 15th anniversary remaster cover for the fat of the land just adding more crabs is one of the funniest album covers Iβve ever seen. i think about it all the time
the first time I came across Dan Bongino's name I thought he was a parody of that Type of Guy; the second time, I inadvertently re-invented it from first principles while making up silly names for my cat and riffing on "the Bongus", and it took me out for a full five minutes
we need robust public transit and urban densification so beautiful and handsome lesbians in their 30s can travel around the city at night drinking things under the gleaming lights and contemplating their jobs, exes, and rivals
"rat sanitizer" would be compelling either as a product or as a job. or as a rat that sanitises, especially if unionised
you skipped over the shot of a rat to establish it's a Spooky location but it actually looks kinda sweet. this was one of my favourite episodes because of a half-second smile Reid gives Morgan
this or cutting out all of the investigations of increasingly tenuous serial killers would've kept me watching it. just leave me the obligatory post opening credits scene where they talk about federal jurisdiction and the fluffy polycule stuff and i'm a happy woman
the first time I ever saw Criminal Minds was after my friends had talked at length about Shemar; I only half paid attention and thought at one point he said "that's Shemar".
thus, I came to believe this was the name of his character, and he regularly confirmed this with his cool catchphrase
I once picked up a Nintendo Wii from a newsagents in this delightfully combative neighbourhood
(my point above was that "4-6 hours after my last dose" was, definitionally, not a "trough level".)
yup! I do half when I get up, half in the evenings, otherwise I get late-night "flushes"; until the new doc I postponed the morning dose and booked my test first thing to get an actual trough level. explained all of this to them... ask me how I became an advocate for lying to clinicians
best of both worlds: my doctor said to arrange my test between 4-6 hours after taking my daily gel because "we want to know the trough level". they're non-binary
