This stuff matters - the short term gain of public attention comes at the long term cost of trust.

I suspect a foundational understanding of physics might help (which I lack!) - I found there were terms being used right from the outset that I didn't yet understand. I did pick up a few basic concepts, I think? But I'm sure there'd be plenty like yourself who could dive in with more success :)
