Its not all about the locos!
A shiny new 807 at Crewe heading for Liverpool, a work worn 150118 departing Manchester, 350248 headed for Birmingham & 153323 working the Shrewsbury shuttle
A Class 67 fest draws to a close then. Every service I'd planned for a 67 turned one out and I added mileage to 5 locos, taking a couple more into the 200 mile club & my stalker 017 over 600 miles!
Over 300 miles of loco hauled action for a £30 ranger - not bad value at all 😁
Exterior of Mornington Crescent station, a typical Leslie Green station building with oxblood red tiles, arched first floor windows, and the station name in black capital letters on a white band below the flat roof.
#OnThisDay 150 years ago, Leslie Green was born. Architect of the ubiquitous oxblood-tiled Art Nouveau stations of the Yerkes Tubes from the early 20th Century, Green designed 45 stations including the platform level tile patterns unique to each. edk7 https://buff.ly/3ErOWbK

It’s always a pleasure to visit the Isle of Wight though sadly reinstatement of the island’s railways, particularly to Newport, Cowes and Ventnor, seems to be taking a lifetime!
