conflict and friction between people is expected human behavior. making major faux pas. misunderstanding things, holding misinformed opinions, etc. Conflict Resolution is crucial, and importantly, nobody get 100% of what they want while coming to a consensus among differing opinions.
And even if they aren't learning anything, if they have the basic decency to behave themselves while attending and not intentionally stir up trouble outside, it's not the kind of person that I should need to be heavy handed with.
People can do or think really dumb and sometimes reprehensible things. But if they have the mind to follow the rules, listen to the mods, and try not to be a menace, they can still learn. im not out to immediately jump to expanding a list of enemies. They have to prove that they are my enemy first.
I absolutely have the button right there on my panel to kick or ban, but until they're airing out their issue with me in public, or im given proof of something actually broadly egregious, i dont. As long as they follow the rules, my personal vendettas are not justification enough.
I see when there are people who have argued with me or insulted me who attend places i moderate. but my problem with them is a personal one, and they don't stir trouble with other attendees or my mutuals. As uncomfortable as i am around them, that is a personal grudge speaking.

I wanted to get some storage but the drive capacity i wanted went from like, 50 usd to 175 usd ish
Some use cases with nvme drives can make up for low ram amounts, which drives up nvme prices, then that ripples through storage alternatives. Plus ai models' storage space. Its not as dramatic a jump compared to ddr5 but it is still a sizeable increase there.
