I definitely appreciate that Nintendo is a business and one I want to be around a long time so am happy to support. But this and only Legends Z-A Switch 2 being the most expensive and the same price is wild to me.

I just think it's obvious the Pokemon company is really not pushing the hardware. In terms of gameplay mechanics and visual fidelity, among many other things. So to charge SUCH a high price really feels like they're taking advantage of a fanbase loyalty.

I definitely understand two different target demographics, and I’m a huge fan of both. I just feel like we, myself included have let Pokémon off so many times. But this price point seems SO extravagant for the kind of game it is. Even Tomodachi Life is $AUD 79.95 compared to Pokopias $AUD 109! 🤯

Just realised this game costs more $AUD than Resident Evil 9?! How?! There is no way it’s going to have production or gameplay value worth that price.

I've never been a "it's the same phone every year" kind of guy, but iPhone 17 Pro also wasn't some groundbreaking moment either. Does make me happy I've stuck with updating every 2nd year so the jumps feel sliiiiiightly better and more worthwhile 😅

Yeah I am aware. But it’s 6 months too late for me. My point was that other companies showed enthusiasm and provided many more updates much, much sooner - and very often they were smaller and have far, far fewer resources than a company like Blizzard Activision.

They did the same for Overwatch.. 6 months+ to acknowledge it at all. Warframe dev out here talking hopes, dreams and showing preview Switch 2 builds etc. We;ve indies all pumping Switch 2 upgrades, media out. Yet the poor little Blizzard studio can't make any of that happen..uninstalled instead.

Whether or not this turns out to be true, it’s pretty amazing to see Capcom back the Switch 2 so strongly this early! So many opportunities to jump into both new and old franchises!
