Holy cow. It’s been a while since I’ve frequented Augusta Street.

Ever since the Winking Judge changed owners and got crappy, I’ve found other places to go.

This isn’t SimCity2000 because at least he’d have something yelling at him to stop cutting funding to healthcare and schools.

That’s okay, they’ll be using “whisper jets”

I mean what next for this guy?

Expropriating the TTC so he can get rid of streetcars? Resuming the Spadina Expressway? Bringing back the Eastern Gardiner and extending it into Scarborough?

The Metro plans were planned around dumping traffic onto Davenport Road by Casa Loma and onto Spadina Ave south of Bloor. That’ll be fun in today’s city.

The real estate costs now versus the late 1960s/early 1970s when Metro was starting land assembly for it will be astronomical.

But that’s not a barrier for him, judging by his recent ideas.

I have plenty of issues with CBC News, especially at the top (R. Barton’s an example) but Travis Dhanraj’s just listing personal grievances here and platforming toxic views.

I’m tired of Doug Ford playing with Toronto as if it were a game of SimCity 3000.

Toronto Humber Yacht Club gets a reprieve as committee proposal to delay closure stuns environmentalist critics City staff must show more evidence to justify the closure of a controversial decades-old boat club, a council committee said Monday.

Forget it Jake, it’s Etobicoke.

If I had a nickel for every time Franz Ferdinand was involved in the precursor events of a world war, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird it happened twice

Internal polling by Ford government suggests strong support for expanding Billy Bishop Airport There is overwhelming public support in Toronto and across Ontario for expanding the runway at Billy Bishop Airport, according to internal government polling obtained by the Star.

This is a push poll, by the notorious Conservative operative Nick Kouvalis, that the government has leaked to the Star

They’ll complain to any news outlet that will listen.

Uh, these guys, who also complained to the Star, are almost right next to the 417. You’d think a major highway with a much wider right of way, its noise and air pollution, and thousands of windshields daily would be far more destructive to an apiary.

Benzie now has a “leaked” internal poll (Campaign Research, of course) that supposedly shows support for this environmental and fiscal disaster.

Doug Ford won’t fund schools or hospitals but has all the time for this shit.

Interesting how Benzie always gets these internal PCPO “leaks.”

There is an Air France/KLM bus from Ottawa to YUL – it leaves from Ottawa VIA Station.

Also Maryland: the huge decline in Baltimore and surrounding counties to the Washington DC suburbs (which went up – thank military contractors and medical tech firms).

Fascinating map!

Genesee County (Flint) really shows up in Michigan, even compared to Wayne (Detroit).

But wow, New Jersey. Every county.

Curious about these; AC runs buses out of Hamilton Airport too. What’s the advantage over going direct to Pearson? Neither airport (YKF or YHM) is particularly close to anything. Is it cheaper airport parking for those who care about that?

In my experience, one passenger railway is becoming the bigger hindrance to the other passenger railway.

That 3 hour delay after leaving Toronto?

On Metrolinx tracks.

That extra delay approaching Union ensuring those passengers with a connection would lose one?

On Metrolinx-dispatched tracks.
