Anyway yes Felassan isn’t my OC but he also had complicated feelings toward Solas. So everyone was weird about him. He did push himself to be strong and tried to set his feelings aside to be a more reliable leadership figure, arranging shit to go against the remaining Evanuris.

Ofc when he realized he was being lied to (when Solas managed to escape the prison) he felt conflicted because he hated that guy but he also got him through bad shit.
He did end up leaning more towards resentment than Elessar. And it wasn’t the same afterwards. He was even open to killing him lol.

Varric got Eliminated which shook everyone, and even El and Fel grew apart and weird. Morieth felt so lost and isolated. Solas immediately took advantage of that fact. So he manipulated Morieth and made Morieth feel like he’d be a safe person to rely on. Poor Morieth fell for it ☹️

Years later when his clan received “Fen’Harel’s Calling” he went along with a plan along with Felassan/Elessar/Varric/Harding (maybe Cole? i forget about him)
Shit got fucked up and Morieth ended up with Solas in his head blahblah

Now 🦇:
Rewinding back a bit, Morieth was kinda adopted by Varric, brought over to Felassan+Elessar and ultimately ended up integrated into a Dalish clan. Anyway he did consider these 3 his parental figures. He was like… 14? When this happened so yah.

So yeah I’m still thinking about Elessar’s fate, but if he doesn’t get killed off, he’d spend centuries in the Fade trying to re-learn how to even be in the same space as Solas. But eventually they get there. And have Fade-children, ftw.

Seeing him again in person was rough. Way too many emotions running wild. Felassan almost made it worse because he also did grow to love Felassan, and thought for a moment he would be able to move on from Solas. But nope LOL doomed yaoi.

Even when Solas stalked him in dreams and he couldn’t sleep at all. It was torture but Elessar wouldn’t call it hate. He still held out hope, even if he wasn’t acting on it just yet. Ofc when Felassan was founnd Tranquil he immediately jumped to it lol.

During Trespasser Solas absolutely broke him LOL. Took the opportunity to disband the Inquisition and just fucked off somewhere distant. Spent a long time kinda self-destructing and punishing himself because even then, he couldn’t hate Solas? Not fully. He loved him so much.

Even when Solas broke up with El, he was in denial for a long time, and it took him a loooong time for him to get to the point of “maybe he isn’t coming back…” but stll he held out hope. He couldn’t let go of Solas easily.

Understand him. Shared interest in spirits and the Fade heloed too (esp because Elessar wanted to learn more about them).
Anyway it didn’t really take much for Elessar to idolize Solas to an unhealthy extent. Put him on a pedestal and considered him the best thing to ever happen to him. Fated.

So 🦌:
Elessar was always kind of the black sheep growing up, and having been kind of shoved into the Inquisition made him withdraw even more because who the fuck are these people I’m scawed.
So naturally he ended up bonding with Solas first, and is really one of the handful within the Inquisition to
