Canadians did not chose an expensive minority government. They voted and waited for results. In the case of poiLIEvre, on the other hand, Canadians chose to get rid of him and he forced a by-election in a very safe riding at costs of + million $. It could be said HE betrayed democracy!
Floor crossing is suddenly a “betrayal of democracy”… now that it hurts the Conservatives.
Poilievre voted against a bill that would force by-elections after party switches, arguing MPs own their seats. Scheer once welcomed a floor-crosser too.
