This is very exciting news for all of us here. This will be the first dedicated space we will have had that has been specifically designed for the delivery of oncology/haematology research in the North East.
It will be an amazing space for our patients to receive the best possible care.

Our @cancerresearchuk.org Nurse Consultant, Ben Hood, has been integral in the creation of a website for teenagers and young adults with cancer. Co-designed with the patients themselves it is an invaluable tool explaining research in their own language. Www.TYAR.org 1/2
Our current big project at work. Really looking forward to being able to bring oncology research into a bespoke building which will allow us to expand the team and increase access to clinical trials for the people of the north east. Then, maybe, I’ll retire happy.
