The next big thing in sim in 2025 will be…
What’s your prediction for #simulation in the year ahead?
❓Use of AI in sim
❓Use of sim to work well with AI
❓Taking sim into new clinical areas
❓Use of sim in organisational learning
Raising a glass to all in the simulation community 🥂
2024 was a busy year and wishing health, fun and much sim in 2025
Simulation faces the ideological struggle of standardisation and neoliberalism - yet learning should be more liberal and learner centred. Remember - we are all on DIFFERENT learning tracjectories
Tailor sim and not one size fits all
Psychological safety is a complex and multilayered construct.
It’s not a simple ‘bolt on’ but a carefully co-constructed phenomena
Fragile in nature; one wrong move can cause it to tumble

It’s beginning a lot to look like Christmas at @simbricks.bsky.social
Wishing all a peaceful Christmas period
Thank you for all the good work you do
It depends. Lead a large practice based nurse sim program that does not record. In the beginning learners to fixated on the screen to focus on debrief, now not logistically possible to record with size of program. The literature is inconclusive on this. My preference is no.
Video cameras are common place in simulation centres or are they?
Do the benefits outweigh the challenges?
Learning gained > logistical and financial challenges?
