..... and what about promontory? π€π€·ββοΈ
Are mantillas still routinely worn there?
I thought that Catholic tradition was long goneπ€
π
Haha π«£π€£π«
I think my main issue is I don't like paying for things π
I've never been there, but believe it's well worth a visit?
Wow, it must have been in its pomp back then too - how lovely π
Well that's shattered my illusions! π¬πππ
Bad weather forecast for tomorrow so thought it best to get a walk in today π
I want to live in that terrace, right at the front at New Ferry π
I am partial to an isthmus ππ
Today's walk in the sunshine took me through Rock Park, Shorefields, Port Sunlight, and finally down the old Levers railway footpath, finishing at Bromborough retail park
I hear you, but just in purely relative terms, I still dispute Lewis's framing

Seems very strange to think that Bidston Court was dismantled, transported to Royden Park, and rebuilt like a giant 3D jigsaw, as Hillbark
I've just managed to tick that pillar box off, on my way up to a routine app't at St Cath's.π
A man was staring at me taking the photo, as if I was mad π«£π€£
I'm not sure I could climb it nowadays, or even if I did, I suspect I would struggle to get back down. π¬
Probably have to get winched off by the fire brigadeπ«£π
3 photos of Bidston Court Gardens, taken this morning. The 4th snap is of the driveway to one of the large houses on Upton Road, backing on to Bidston Hill.
All those mansions on Noctorum ridge are fantastic, but then I wouldn't fancy doing the hoovering, so ...... π€·ββοΈπ
I remember following my nose that way after getting off the train at Hillside. I walked past the famous Birkdale white Clubhouse, and then a path directed me through woodland and down towards the dunes, between the boundaries of both golf clubs
Really? π¬
Is it the narrow corridor of public right of way land sandwiched between Birkdale and Hillside golf courses that is affected up there?
