...ESPECIALLY with needles at the pain clinic. Because I flinched so bad when getting a medial branch block on my spine last year that the injection site felt bruised for a day or two... and I never want that to happen again.

It takes all of my energy to brace myself for injections. Exhausting!

I got my migraine Botox the other day, switched providers but it's the woman I see at the pain clinic anyway. She told me how well I did, not even flinching.

What she didn't know was that it hurt SO MUCH MORE than when my previous doc did it, but I'm just used to suppressing my flinches...
