I'm honestly glad they make up less than half of millennials... but I am also very unhappy they make up well over a quarter of us millennials. We grew up with the opportunity to abandon the bigotry of our oppressive abusive boomer parents. There is no reason for any millennial to copy them.

You however, are completely unaware of the fact that poverty and systematic oppression renders it completely impossible to move freely across borders and travel on one's own. Moving freely and traveling requires wealth and privilege.

Why do people have such a weird obsession about lying about marginalized people?
What is wrong with people that they feel compelled to lie about anyone they dislike?
It is so incredibly fucked up and vile. I see my family do it all the time, and I hate seeing people online do it too. It is toxic.

This potential draft is going to disproportionately affect American Indians, & AGAIN we are the community no one talks about when new policy like this gets tossed around. Once again, OUR communities are going to get torn apart by this. It is going to be hardest for us to fight back against.

bsky also hides people simply saying truthful things and facts about bigots and hate groups as Rude. saw censored stuff and posts with labels for that stuff on peoples' posts and stuff being quote-posted. apparently, even if things aren't rude, aren't hateful, and aren't intolerant, it gets it.

I really miss the days back when Reading was considered Fundamental.
It is something I think about often.
It had a big influence on me growing up and I hope someday this type of societal thinking turns mainstream again and it no longer exists solely as memes/nostalgia.

I think about how Republicans politicians and influencers are all saying three things for years, "Facts don't matter, beliefs/faith/'opinions' do." and it is a common ideological belief held by Narcissists, Bigots, and Pseudo-science quacks simply because Facts and Truth are their greatest enemy.

Every time someone complains about that... the lefty in question never got mad over a difference of opinion.
It was always about it being either a person claiming blatant obvious easily-proven lies are facts, or the person was using prejudice and hate as either their opinion or a proven fact.

I can imagine because that is very commonplace.
Similar things are true for people all across the world.
Most people have never left their home region.
In the USA most people never left their home state in the entire life, they've never seen most of the USA. Same is true with other nations.

I can't help but think that because the majority of Queer elders died off, and Straight people were the people who could teach, in resulted in a lot of terms in the 1990's being viewed through a bigoted lense of a straight person in the media, educations, entertainment, and news. It really sucked.

So I would hear all of these terms, but I'd have nobody as an adult in my life to talk to about this stuff except straight people, and all of the Queer youths I knew had only straight people as elders, and those straight people were unable to teach us anything, cause they didn't know crap.

Yeah, I think about how I as a Millenial all of those terms existed in the 1990's, because all Queer people in the Queer community knew those terms and it existed in Queer media back then, but because of the aids crisis almost none of us knew older Queers to explain and teach us about these terms.
