Which is why it will be very hard for US to ever regain trust from the rest of the world.

US is clearly on a very dangerous path of division and anti democracy polarization.

Suddenly Europe could have been a useful ally..?

I think we can conclude that the Union is in quite a state..

Appalling. Deplorable. I can’t find words that reflect the shame Americans must feel.

Some pictures from when I visited Ukraine with my father and brothers in 2008. Such a beautiful country with friendly, proud and hospitable people.
After four years of brutal and indiscriminate Russian aggression I cannot understand how any civilised country can fail to support the Ukrainians.

It probably wouldn’t have gotten so big if he had not applied White House communication style on it. Shouting rude words on television and accusing the other team of setting him up makes good tv.

Great song.

More significant lyrics than ever, unfortunately.

Thanks, many of these brands are not very relevant in Europe however.
-And I do question Amazon being classified as democrat. Anything connected to Bezos and Musk are among the first I avoid.

They are absolutely not welcome in Europe

That would be the final blow, making me stop watching Olympic Games totally

As an European I am seeing this everywhere and also myself avoid US products. However, to be more nuanced and not punish US companies that do stand up against the regime, I would like lists of companies that support and reject Trump policies. Are such lists available?

Russians are allowed to compete in some Olympic competitions, albeit under β€œneutral flag” that doesn’t fool anyone. And now a Ukrainian athlete is disqualified for honoring his killed fellow athletes. Disgusting.

..and now you are supposed to act grateful..

12.02.2026 22:17 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

The hypocrisy is simply appalling. The Olympic brand suffers a blow that will be hard to recover from, when allowing the perpetrators to compete and disqualify the victims.

If you can’t tell a significant difference then you are part of the problem.

Anyone surprised..? What were the corresponding figures for Gaza btw?

..and more to come as European, Asian and African consumers increasingly turn to brands from countries we can depend on and trust..

In Sweden almost every villa has some type of heat pump; air to air, air to water, or from the ground to water. Highly economical, comfortable and efficient. And we have not needed subsidies to promote it as far as I know.

26.01.2026 20:41 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

I can only agree. Europeans are truly appalled and disgusted of what we see in the news. We cannot understand how any members of senate and congress, let alone Supreme Court can allow this to go on.

..and he claims that US did not need their help. So why did they ask for it?

23.01.2026 20:30 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Mostly in Belgium

Interesting how fast trust is lost and how hard to rebuild. US have had 17 bases on Greenland, nothing ever stopped you from having even more.

But if the White House now suddenly said that they wanted to expand their military presence on the island again, how do you think that would be received?

Jeg hΓ₯ber at grΓΈnlΓ¦nderne ser hvordan minoriteter bliver behandlet i USA fΓΈr de udtaler sig om hvor de vil hΓΈre til.

My wife and I got dual shingles vaccine doses last year. And yes, every time we got half a day of flu symptoms. It is very common but absolutely worth it.

10.01.2026 14:38 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Do you really mean to say they did not see this coming? Because almost everyone outside of US did. And just the suspicion should be enough to vote differently.

So I take it he has finally given up on the Nobel prize..?

I honestly never thought US could ever sink that low.

02.01.2026 15:23 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

That could hopefully over time restore some normality and decency in the US. I am more skeptical about international trust and relation to allies.
