This is one area where Gunn and the WB team have done a better job. He and others have been promoting existing books and creatives that might have some source material ties to new films and shows to bring more eyes to them, instead of trying to push new lines.
I’m so sad. Catherine O’Hara was truly one of our greatest artists. And it was really cool to see a new audience discover her work through Schitt’s Creek. It really felt like she was in the midst of her second act.
All good choices but I want to see some new, never before revealed games too. Sadly, there would likely only be a few small ones.
She's saying these things but so far, she hasn't really demonstrated the ability or even any inclination to implement them at CBS. Her efforts have been focused on steering programming to the right and doing puff segments for people of that nature that audiences don't seem to care about. We'll see.

- Holiday came LATE this year. Consumers waited and waited but eventually showed up.
- PS5 discounting helped a ton.
- Switch 2 finished at 4.4M units vs our 4.3M pre-launch forecast.
- Spending increase was generally driven by higher pricing.
- Battlefield 6!
Read the entire thread, but the folks declaring Switch 2 dead over the holidays apparently missed the mark. No doubt the December $50 off MK bundle helped but keep in mind that deal wasn’t even traditionally advertised since it wasn’t Nintendo-led. Had it been, sales would have been even higher.

I think Netflix realized the potential cost for UFC was too high. The Ellison's wanted it to grow subs but also to promote their new bro culture focus. But, David and others have realized the massive UFC overspend won't net them profits without a much bigger sub and ad base which WBD would bring.

Not sure I trust that account at all but I would love an ARMS sequel. Or some sort of a follow-up if not exactly ARMS.

The real secret is that Cane’s chicken is average. There are far better strips of various types that could be considered “trendy” like Canes. Dave’s hot chicken for example, while different, is much more unique and all around better. 🤷♂️
I think I would be more excited if it was happening due to a an exciting story idea but I’m certain the bringing back of RDJ, the old X-Men, Cap and others was just Feige desperately trying to being the MCU back to the consistent billionaires club. Hoping it will still be great, though!
