I’ve tried a few of the High Republic comics, but haven’t been amazed by most of that whole period. Like my feelings on Legion of Super-Heroes, it feels too far removed from the main thing. The Charles Soule stuff is good. #ngl
I get enough superheroes from DC that I don’t really seek them out elsewhere, but ASTRO CITY is special. #ngl
The most relatable hero in fiction
I will await your return
Yeah we're never seeing her again lmao
Not explicitly. Dude must have just decided to change it up. #ngl
Ohhh, yeah. Trinity, from that second New 52 run. We never really followed up on her.
No? There was a member of the Outsiders named Indigo, but she had nothing to do with the Indigo tribe.
Only very briefly. For the most part, they're basically treated as non-players. The other Corps don't really figure into the Post-Johns Lantern stories as much as you might think.
No one ever accused superhero comics of being subtle
We’ve had an original human Red Lantern before, in Peter Milligan’s Red Lanterns run. His name was Jack Moore, aka Rankorr.
Blue Lanterns are consistently depicted as a relatively new group slowly recruiting new members one sector at a time, and keep getting blown up. They haven’t made it to 2814.
I do however believe that his life is very boring
Is there anything special about the week after March 25th
She never even met this guy

There are quite a lot of DC fans who primarily engage with fanworks
Interviewing @ryannorth.ca about his new Flash run tomorrow. What should I ask him
I deserve a goddamn award for Tactfulness
They are making it for the same reason Disney does those live action remakes. It’s about brand maintenance
God, even Jerry Siegel got $125 for Superman, 90 years ago
Kid in my class back in elementary school used a Game Boy Camera to catch a kid who was stealing other kids’ Pokemon cards. It was legendary
(I always liked the Game Boy Printer for letting you like print out a little diploma if you caught every Pokemon)
If you see me stealing this for insert credit ignore it
That’s really weird that only Batman and Robin know his middle name
Let me know if you can, I ain’t rewatching for that
My friend @joshualapinbertone.bsky.social tells me that at least the initial, and in fact much of what we know about Gordon today, comes from World’s Finest #53 in 1951
A cursory search tells me there’s really no source for this, and some fan just decided that one day and it stuck to a bunch of wikis
