There are some proposed restrictive measures I‘m not against, such as a curfew time or limited time for under 16s on social media, but an outright ban, imo, will hurt the most vulnerable.

I would also back measures to make non-corporate social media.

I’m against the social media ban for under 16s. For many marginalised kids (trans kids for example) online is the only place they can find a good support network.

An u-16s social media ban will make some children lonely outsiders again.

I’ll admit, I thought Labour planned to abolish many jury trials and replace them with a judge’s decision. That would be bad enough. But that in cases of max sentences of 2 years they would be heard by Magistrates is truly frightening.

I’m normally a laissez-faire kinda person, less given to banning things than many. But this stuff absolutely disgusts me, it’s used to demonstrate power over women and girls in a completely violating way.
