I've just horrified my lovely beauty therapist by describing a PhD Viva, and a PhD. As I was doing this, it dawned on me that PhDs are, indeed, quite bonkers, full-on things and why would ANYONE actually sign up to do it??

My special skill is that round on Richard Osman's House of Games, where you have to identify a pop song after hearing to 1 second of it. My hit rate is phenomenal. I think I might need to put it on my CV, along with creative swears, and being able to hula hoop as an essential workplace competency.
