The credibility of the US government is completely shot.
Gone.
Annihilated.
Nobody anywhere in the world can believe a single word that comes out of this Administration.
Ever.

Mother's Daughter & Other Songs to ππΌ Love You All Over Again, glitchronica x folktronica + the verses that have narrated the decades.
It's been a while, and they're sounding ruddy marvellous. Urban folk par excellence.
It's a brilliant, powerful, and highly necessary drama.
It's both spartan and pensive, a juxtaposition of the innocence of the song and the profound grief the father (Stephen Graham) is experiencing as the lays face down on his lads' bed, the innocence of his lads' youth and also his own fatherhood so brutally wrenched from them.
2. The closing scene with a song by an artist named Aurora, 'Through The Eyes Of A Child'.
The camera pans to the scene of the crime as a cover of Sting's 'Fragile' plays out by Aaron May & David Ridley + choral youth accompaniment. It's both familiar and isn't. And haunts the scene it captures. I was floored by it.
We need to talk about 'Adolescence'.
Let's look at the 2 songs so skillfully employed.
1. The first as it leaves the scene of the school, a school that could be any British state comp of today. Ordinary and dysfunctional, a battleground for teachers.

Ouch. And meh! High drama to end a slow burner, it's a game of two halves in which the opposition stifles your best play and ultimately take a scalp. Defensively, they were too solid and we massively lacked the wing play.
Well played @pafc.co.uk
Don't sweat the small stuff.
And remember, it's all small stuff.
It's a game of two halves...
Good to see the boss Liverpool FC put in another boss performance bossing the Prem.

It's a reflux redux.
If it makes you feel any better you weren't going to make it through the next four years anyway.
